In short

RecStudio does not collect, store, sell or share any personal data. Your recordings stay on your phone. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

What the app uses, and why

Everything below happens only on your device. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.

• Screen capture: only after you tap Start and approve your phone's own permission prompt, and only to make your recording.
• Microphone: to record your voice when you choose to. On Android, recording game and app sound also uses this permission.
• Camera: for the Video recorder.
• Notifications: to show the recording controls (Pause, Stop) while you record.
• Photos / Gallery (adding files only): to save a copy of your videos there, if that setting is on.
• Free storage space: to show how much recording time you have left.

Your recordings

Recordings are kept in the app's private storage on your phone and, if you choose, in your phone's Photos / Gallery. We cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes its private copies. A recording leaves your phone only when you share it yourself, with the app you choose.

Purchases

Purchases and free trials are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store, under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your card details, name or email address. The store only tells the app whether you own RecStudio Pro.

Network

The app connects to the internet only to talk to Google Play or the App Store about purchases.

Children

RecStudio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For purchase records, contact Google or Apple. You are welcome to contact us at any time.

Security

Your recordings are protected by your phone's own security. We recommend using a screen lock.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
